OTO by The Nought Collective
by sabine7 / January 13, 2009

The Nought Collective specializes in hand-knotted area rugs from Nepal. The Rugmark-certified artisans use traditional methods specific to the mountainous regions. This practice results in a thick, low pile construction that stands up to humidity and cold temperatures. OTO is the latest collection for the Nought Collective, in contrast to the earlier ETU or "sun" collection. OTO is a series of 9 different modes of transport such as school bus, motorcycle, tank, tractor, station wagon and Land Rover, all on grounds of chalk, graphite or charcoal. Not what you'd expect to grace your typical area rug, and precisely what makes these floorcoverings timeless pieces with personality.
