Icelandic designer Siggi Anton has launched a new lamp called Lucio that features a surface of 12 mirrors revealing a soothing glow. The idea is one of sanctuary from the hectic world: Lucio is designed as a modern alternative to the ancient contemplative act of firegazing as a means of restoring calm. The piece consists of 12 mirrors in an MDF surround and LEDs with a 30,000-hour lifespan. The sculptural wall lamp was one of the top 10 picks of SaloneSatellite's curator when it was presented as a prototype.
