Recent Eindhoven graduate Kaman Tung presented a well thought out graduation project entitled Family, a set of practical restaurant seating. This furniture is designed for public spaces or anywhere we need to keep an eye on our belongings. Tung's BackPack Chair and CaseChair allow for tidy temporary storage: stash a handbag in the nook on the side or built into the back. No more sitting with a bag on your lap all evening (since the dirty floor is out of the question). Hang a coat or scarf on the Hanger Chair to keep it from slipping off the back or dragging along the floor. The table has a storage compartment underneath the surface where smaller items can be stowed safely and observed throughout the meal without taking up valuable space that should be reserved for food and drink.

love the table, great proportions.
its a GREAT concept and I'm interested in buying the set for my apartment...When does this project become available to the market place...?
btw its great for even one person who has different modes and can now have options to express this where options never existed before...why do seats have to be the same anyways when no two people who sit in them are the same?
