More from London Design Week 2008 - Part 2
by sabine7 / October 29, 2008

Daniel-Emma Design Studio focused on shapes during 100% Design London. Daniel and Emma presented a fan, a radio, a table, a dinner set and a cupboard that used a square, a triangle, a circle and a pentagon. Jo Cope's Storage Arm cried out for attention, but her Self-Extension bag was more subtle. To hold, the user must insert her hand right into the bag to grasp the handle. This bag also can be laid out as a mat. There are fewer than few commercial design studios in Poland and DBWT is one of them. The Onion Lights by Daria Burlinska was one of the DBWT displays. Libelle Decor was also on hand with a variety of lighting with influences that ranged from classical to organic.

Thanks, MoCo Loco, for providing information on The Onions.

To be correct, it ought to be said that the designer behind The Onion Lights is Daria Burlinska from DBWT team.

Our friend, Michael Kowalski, is PR consultant helping Polish design companies.
