Michaël Bihain's new release is the WAW coat stand, not unlike the link of a DNA chain. The fluidity of the lacquered steel stand lends itself to single use or grouped in a wave of smooth angles. This repetition then allows WAW to be used as a sculptural room divider or focal point, indoors or out. Bihain was inspired by "reflection based on furniture being energy, where the absence of material may free us from all physical constraints: a move towards the no-furniture."
