Sylvain Willenz, creator of Snottebel decorative ambient lights and STUFF seamless rubber bags, has now designed the Freecom Mobile Drive xxs "the world's smallest external hard drive" measuring 2.5" and weighing in at 5.5 ounces. Instead of a conventional enclosure the xxs is contained in a rubberized exchangeable cover and comes with a tiny 95mm USB cable. The rubber cover allows for easy grip and the cable avoids the usual accompanying bulk. Size does matter.
