+ Anna Drastik's Chandelier #1 looks like a traditional tiered lamp, but the strips are made of silicone that encases collages of thread and textured fabric.

+ Olivia is a new LED floor lamp in aluminium by Sand & Birch. The dreamlike nature of its shape refers to our childhood when everything was possible.

+ Dima Loginoff's new design concept, Curl My Light, is a plastic table lamp whose shade and base mimic the electrical wire.

+ Muungano is a laser cut bench designed by Peter Thuvander that is actually the word (which means union) itself. The Derrida-inspired bench is a reflection on language and form.

Oh! I went to grad school with Anna Drastik when she first started experimenting with this technique! The results are fabulous!

That chandelier is just stunning - pretty innovative use of silicone I'd say! Very intriguing piece of work by Anna Drastik

I just love that piece by Anna Drastik! It is very interesting how she translates a traditional object into something completely different due to the material choice, truly innovative and just beautiful at the same time!

The chandelier at the Triple five showing was really amazing. There's a sort of retro 80's color scheme and the low lit lighting fits perfect. Anna's truly multi talented, textiles, fibers, all great!

Anna Drastik has found a great way to use silicone - her textiles are amazing!
(lets not waste silicon for anything else anymore)
