Could no longer resist, via the CR Blog, Philippe Starck Designer is looking for candidates to take part in a new six-part Apprentice-style TV series called School of Design. "It’s premise is to discover new British design talent and ten designers will be chosen to live and work in Paris for two months, alongside the illustrious French designer.". After which, no doubt, the designer will proclaim that everything they have created is materiality, that they should be ashamed, and that they should definitely give up in two years’ time... then look for work in television, which is immaterial and thus truly beneficial to society.

FACT: I desperately wanted to "audition" for this show.
FACT: I do not qualify because I'm not a British citizen.
FACT: I cried when I found out.
I cry with you, Sally.
I almost cried...but why don't ask People&Arts to do the same in America but with Campana Brothers?? Is not Brazil a nice design place??
I guess our American equivalent would be Adler? That's depressing.
