1 PM: It’s showtime!
Finally getting a chance to really walk the show. One of the first companies I checked out was Dasso, which makes bamboo flooring, veneers, panels—and an intriguing prototype chair (after the jump), “cushioned” with bamboo fibers. The booth design itself was also a great demonstration of the material’s variety and expressiveness, as well as its chameleonlike nature, capable of shifting from spongy to supple to superstrong.
