Blogs are great for a constantly updated fix of what’s happening in the design world, but we will never deny that magazines have their place as well. Who can resist the glossy pages and pictures to pore over? But who has time? All too often hefty design mags end up as nothing more than good-looking coffee table accessories. Our solution was to ask MoCo contributor and Montreal designer Eric Demay to help us out. Every week Eric will be taking a look at a variety of design magazines from all over the world and passing along his finds, thereby cutting to the chase. What mag should we be buying and why? What's the point in design magazines these days - all the content you ready is all just taken from this and other blogs - really, there's no need for design mags to exist - we designers are a savvy bunch, we all know which sites deliver good content and magazines just rip off what we have already read yet charge advertisers. I think fashion mags will still exists but design mags - nah - their time is over
