Arch Daily sent us some houses; the Aquino House a 490m2 project by Augusto Fernández mas (K+A Diseño) in Cuernavacas, Mexico. The house was designed to blend with the natural surroundings and features a studio that houses thousands of books, cds and albums. Materials used include stone, marble, tropical wood, steel, glass and concrete.

... and the Presenhuber House a holiday home by AFGH in Vnà, Switzerland that incorporates the traditional Engadine architectural style into a contemporary structure. Many fires destroyed the original timbered homes, so the village is home to many stone houses, reflected by the concrete of the Presenhuber project.

+ Form One is the first ring from La Pisette’s Form Collection. The solid sterling ring takes its shape from the natural faceting that would occur in a found gemstone.

+ The Cuna rocking chair by Zana Design for Capdell is a hanging armchair that swings, the movement belying the serious appearance.

+ The Paralda from Alen is the first green portable air purifier for the home – completely lead-free and ozone safe.
