This week's MoCo picks, Milan Design Week Edition.

As you may have seen here 2008's Milan Design Week was covered in real time by design blogs this year, of particular note:

+ Joris Laarman's WirePod for Artecnica "a multi-point electrical power pod” and Adrien Rovero's Saving Grace lights for Droog "designed specifically for energy saving compact fluorescent light bulbs" at Dezeen.

+ Kiyonobu Nakagame & Associates' house in Minami-Boso at noticias arquitectura, "we came up with the design concept to provide the one continuous wall folded in different directions setting up the various views.".

+ Prebuilt's prefab Mod House, "based on a modular system and extends from a one bedroom Single Mod through to a five bed Quad Mod and can encompass almost any combination in between". Via materialicious.

+ More of the Arkitekthus Plus House pre-fab, a two-storey house by Swedish architects Claesson Koivisto Rune featuring the "generic proportions of a traditional Swedish barn house" at David Report blog.

+ Daniel Rybakken's Subconscious Effect of Daylight "tries to replicate the effect of having daylight indoors. The lamp has the shape of a small table where the light source is mounted underneath the tabletop.". Via Dexigner.
