The Swarovski Crystal Palace is nothing less than spectacular. A series of exhibits by a group of top designers highlights the sparkle of Swarovski. Tokujin Yoshiuka’s encased crystals made up a scene that is elegant, yet serene – the zen of Swarovski. Arne Quinze played with colour, showing a golden side to crystal. Studio Job’s Globe was delightfully imposing and Marcel Wanders showered the Crystal Palace with style (with a couple of bikinied helpers, no less). Fredrikson Stallard’s Crystal Cavern display is a fantastic combination of matte and not, and there were also pieces by Piero Lissoni, Paul Cocksedge, Front Design and Zaha Hadid.
