+ Following the success of last year’s Vertigo side table for Moroso, AquiliAlberg are launching the Vertigo pouf.

+ Alain Monnens’ Stretch light was the recent winner of a 2008 red dot award. The lamp can be stretched in such a way as to fit either horizontally across a room from wall to wall, or vertically from floor to ceiling.

+ Netwer’s Bet is an ash bed frame of 11 pieces that slot together easily, a great guest bed that can be brought out when needed.

+ Use Reiko Kaneko’s Egg Soldiers for your own egg soldiers. These model soldiers are poised to protect the egg from the toast.

+ The Braun Woodlineround table is a 4-seater that expands to fit a dozen people. The leaves fold out from a tray affixed to the underside of the tabletop.

Zana, a Milan-based company, will be launching two lines of tables at the Salone del Mobile next month. Club is a family of round tables lacquered in red, black or white and Sipario (theatre curtain in Italian) is a bedside table whose legs evoke stage curtains.

The stretch light is a interesting idea. I am just curious about the light source. LED? CFL? Incandescent?
