We had a very Canadian week at Art MoCo, starting with work by Tahia Sanhueza and Julie Moon, curated by Magic Pony. How can anyone not stop and gawk at an armchair festooned with blue ‘shrooms and pompom growths?

Dennis Lin’s concrete numbers have been getting a fair bit of cyberplay, but equally impressive is his urban forest.

This Scattershot installation by Lauri Lynnxe Murphy evokes a pebbly beach and the creatures in the sea nearby. But that’s just us.

More shapes and arrangements by Lauri Lynnxe Murphy because the ol’ kid in a candy store idea still holds true.

Adriean Koleric’s Moji sculptures are based on the mythical creatures that hail from the Himalayas and lurk in local produce. Seems like a great segue into the weekend. SM
