We got some more info on Chet Domanski's Energy Bracelet, the one made of worn production tubing from Alberta's oil and gas wells. The bracelets have a unique patina finish -custom made by soil of the earth. In addition to being beautiful objects on their own, each product is complete with a small label that provides the GPS coordinates from the site the pipe was extracted. JGB

I tried one of these bracelets and was impressed by its weight: quite reflective of the importance of oil on a global scale, obviously, but also of what it means to Alberta, where the bracelets are made. And Canada. So although it may appear to be a piece of pipe, it represents a far greater value. The fact that the Energy Bracelet is such a thought-provoking piece reminds me of what great design can achieve.
