There were some interesting ideas and structures in terms of seating at IMM. Yael Mer’s Volume chair displayed a foam filled paper shell, while Andrea Knecht’s Pouf de Paille mixed straw and latex. The O-chairs by Kawase Mokko continued the butterfly theme started in his Oshima collection and roses were the order of the day in Vibieffe’s laser cut chairs. Form-Finding’s Lounge Landscape was all clean organic shapes and the Lava seating by COR very inviting. Dekka Daybed by FurnID was a mix of Danish and Arabic design, the Pick Chair by BBB was a sleek, space-saving design and La Nuova Casa showed some cosy cushion sofas to sink into.
