TOUCH is an on-line gallery that promotes the work of emerging designers who put special emphasis on handmade products in order to; 1) raise the value of the product and 2) ensure that sustainability and social responsibility remain priorities. In a short series of posts, we will be taking a look at the four designers represented, like Brazilian Domingos Tótora (bench above) who brings together local artisans to produce furniture and accessories out of kraft paper and banana fibre. Most of the pieces include waves and ripples integrated into the design.
