Blind Stool
Castor’s new Blind Stool is a product of the great Canadian wilderness, our roots as hunters and farmers and a contemporary eye for form and function, all tempered with a bit of tongue in cheek. We can’t put it much better than they have: “The Blind Stool is cast in aluminum from a stool found in a duck blind in Northern Ontario. It is a collaboration between Castor and an unknown hunter. The wood grain, screws and rust patina are all in intact after casting. It has been finished with hand tooling, a black patina and has a leather handle for quick getaways.” For those of you not familiar with a duck blind, there is a great photo after the jump.
