WRLDs is a company in Seattle that creates unique objects out of financial data. “Within the WRLDs System, participants can generate both virtual 3D and physical objects from their trading data. Translating trading data into these new forms creates a shareable social object from the symbolic language of trading. WRLDs System Objects convey the abstracted methods of trades through both their form, and their visual codes. They do not convey any personal or professional information.” The data is printed and then produced in either fused ceramic, or wax that will be later produced as a porcelain model. Each group of data results in a disk or cone that can then be combined with others to create sculptural forms.
