+ John Wilcox turns his artisanal glassworks to contemporary lighting by using salvaged vitrolite, a colourful, opaque, structural glass. Should he spend more time focusing on this lamp? Wilcox welcomes comments.

+ 366cm Design has a new collection based on squares and this series of tiles fits the bill quite well. Laser-etched, the tiles have been designed to look like electric cooker elements.

+ Shima-shima is a photo frame handmade out of Japanese paper by M+K Design. Photos of any size smaller than the frame can be slipped in, corners under the strips of paper.
