Via Facebook, Design By Them is the Australian duo of Nicholas Karlovasitis and Sarah Gibson whose projects cover furniture, lighting and accessories. Their lines are clean, and their design combines a sense of fun with clear-cut function. Dorothy is a pylon lighting system that is great for outdoor parties and events. See the WebLight after the jump, a pendant or floor light that relies on HDPE plastic from plastic bags. Or Loose Change, a chair meant to make finding the change that slips down between the cushions a whole lot easier. And take a peak at Posy, a flirty way to deliver a bunch of flowers.

Those glowing street pylons are $260 a piece? In Tokyo, all the construction sites use glowing street pylons already... maybe we can order from the construction company instead... here's an example:
