Jonathan Aspinall’s Linked Mug is designed to connect in order to facilitate carrying a row of mugs together without the use of a tray. Link them and use the two end handles. Particle takes its inspiration from chemical cell structure models, and the modules can be added or subtracted to create an endless variety of forms. Particle is designed by Dominic McAusland out of melamine ply. Lladró’s Polar Bear Resting is certainly a new take on traditional porcelain, but no surprise since Jaime Hayon took on art direction of the Re-Deco collection at Lladró. Another installation shot of Michiel Knoppert and Scott Wilson’s work and then Louise Campbell’s High Position chair, which is not actually wood, but an upholstered steel frame, for Erik Jørgensens Møbelfabrik in the Made in Denmark show. Last, but not least, we have a good photo of the delightful Burda is Dead lamp. Larger photos after the jump.
