The detail above is from Mentholated Daydream, but at Art MoCo we started the week Punch Drunk, a new painting by Lorraine Peltz, so we knew things would get lively.
Sure enough, Mr Turtleman by Jason Sho Green was the next offering, just the tip of the iceberg. After all, the detail above is from Monkey on my back and a baby in my belly.
By mid-week it was time to take a breath and relax with Jan Fabre’s Four Seasons.
Then we were ready for Julie West’s mysterious cast of characters, but they weren’t giving much away.
And we end the week with Caitlin Masley’s abstractions, intricate executions of map like drawings. SM
