Last month I took part in the Coudal Partners Swap Meat, sending them an array of products in the hopes of getting something equally interesting in return. I was not let down when my swap arrived; when The Journal Of Popular Noise arrived on my doorstep, I knew I had won out on the deal. Jw
The Journal of Popular Noise is an "audio-magazine" released a few times a year. Issues 1-3 take the form of a highly detailed letterpress cover/poster, with three 7" vinyl records. Each record contains a series of tracks from one of three different artists.

The letterpress print is expertly folded and impressive on its own. The music, a mix of experimental sounds and dub stylings, is equally good- the package complements the contents perfectly.

You can hear samples of the music in JPN Issues 1-3 and order your own copy here.

ohhh....
