furni, the designers who make the retro Gator and Alba clocks, would like you to hack their clock. They've created a Do It Yourself clock parts kit, a "Skill Defining Kit" that you can use to make your own clock. Says designer Mike Giles; "If it inspires you or makes you think that you can do better, you can enter your design into our Show Us Your Skills design competition". The competition is open until September 1st 2007. If they chose your clock as their favorite they will put it into production for their upcoming collection and share the profits with the winner. It won't be the first time furni clocks got modified, artists used them as canvases back in February.
