Twenty + Change
by sabine7 / June 8, 2007

Twenty + Change is an exhibition of contemporary architecture, landscape, and urban design projects held in conjunction with the City of Toronto’s Festival of Architecture and Design which opens today at the Gladstone Hotel and runs through July 8th. Featured are projects by 20 Toronto emerging designers and firms who strive for innovation in projects such as Donald Chong’s Galley House, a slender detached house that makes use of a leftover urban lot. Pictured after the jump, the concept of Small Fridges Make Good Cities, where design choices could force consumers to consider practicing the urban harvest instead of driving out to a big-box. And a simply gorgeous Wine Gallery. SM

I'd love to design a narrow house like that for a small urban lot, but the zoning laws in St. Paul wouldn't allow it.
