Billed as the green future for motorboating, the Grano 750 Modular Electric (Christelle) is a concept. Designed by Micael Palmgren, it's part of a collection of works by the 2007 industrial design master graduates of Lund University. Says Micael, "Christelle is a green boat concept set to be released in the year 2020. I have repeatedly questioned every detail of the design, to ensure better boating for tomorrow’s customers. We have seen numerous attempts of environmentally friendly vehicles introduced over the past few years, especially from car manufacturers. But not a single proposal for sustainable motor boating. The unique modular design is able to change skin on the spot. This gives limitless choice in configuring the boat for many purposes, from short day trips on the lake to longer journeys at sea.". More after the jump, including Spot the traveling hotel. Thanks Robert!

Designed by Anton Breman, the Spot concept "is a flexible hotel system for a near future, a concept for exploring the ever changing cultural landscape. It takes the customers needs, interest and wishes in consideration and open new doors for the client for alternative locations and activities. By an intuitive five step booking system you are on your way to the experience of a lifetime. It is a self-supporting living unit that harvests the sun and the rain. It enables the cultural and geographic freedom for the modern tourist.".
