I was in Milan and I saw Philippe Starck's stainless steel Miss Lacy chair: first, it's sad to see how an Italian company has to produce in India to keep its earnings at high levels. Second, I consider all the Starck collection presented by Driade this year as something that could have been done five years ago, not in 2007. Driade was a trendsetter in the '80s and '90s, now it just follows the flow because their customers are new riches that buy objects just because it's designed by Philippe Starck....
