A follow up to Phaidon book Spoon, 100 product designers selected by 10 critics, And Fork is an update with 100 new designers from 10 curators (many designers themselves). The book features 1,000 color illustrations of hundreds of products by the selected designers, works that range from chairs, lighting, footwear, kitchen accessories to electronics. From "a new generation of designers more concerned with social responsibility and the ethics of design, new product design that caters to our increasing dependence on portable and personal technology, and a rise in collaboration between young designers.". I picked this book up off the shelf on Friday, and almost sprained my wrist- it's a monster!

While the designs chosen in the book are pretty interesting, I wasn't really wowed by the page-layout and graphic strategy. The cover is beautiful, though!
