Vertikal
by Harry / March 29, 2007

non·object book author and industrial designer Branko Lukic has sent us a new bottle design for a new vodka called Vertikal. I haven't tried it, but I like the bottle design, the "World's First Neckless Bottle", especially the wide mouth screw top, and the fact that it was intentionally designed so that "after its initial life as a product, the bottle was designed to be re-used as an elegant vase" or in my case, an elegant water bottle (if I can get my hands on one).

Now here's a reason to drink more vodka! Very sci-fi.

I believe neck-less bottles have been around for thousands of years. They're usually called "jars".

Touché AP, but a jar with the threads on the inside. ;)

all this bottle/jar= bottle needs is an olive floating peacefully inside!

What does this look like from the top? Looks similar (well how similar can a vertical cylinder of liquid get) to the Voss water bottle...

Oh, dear - vodka in a thermos. It just gets easier and easier ....

Can you actually fit a pourer onto it? If not its a dodo

does it have a built-in straw?
