Very Brooklyn

Starting tomorrow at 6pm, Very Brooklyn is the next show at Commissaires design gallery in Montreal. Several new objects by Brooklyn-based designers will be on display including David Weeks’ Votives candleholders for Kikkerland (above), as well as his Oval Boi Chandelier #418 and Hivemindesign’s Wooden Stools, with sections that can be recombined, see them after the jump. Also at the show, works by Rob Teeters, Historically Inaccurate, Nicholas Furrow, Matt Gagnon, Carlos Salgado (from Scrapile) and new jewellery pieces by Alissia MT.

I want them, too! I checked www.kikkerland.com. The candles are not shown on the website, nor at any of their online retail dealers. :(

the candles will be available for sale at the gift shop of the Santa Monica Museum of Art in May.
