I haven't read the book, nor do I hold anything against designing children's rooms, but the wheels of the box beneath the bench-thing are aligned the wrong way... Not a good startoff, considering that this is taken from the cover photo of the book...

I think that this looks like a sweet book and BECAUSE the wheels are the wrong way i would buy it because its shows that when living with kids you make things work! The wheels may make it easier to slide out but if you turn it so they worked the bin would not fit under the bench, i think the wheels facing the wrong way is a small unnoticeable sacrifice.
