Minneapolis artist Keegan Wenkman started us off with a slew of zingy illustrations in tones of sepia and red.
Then we took a look at his paintings, also peopled with a fine cast of characters.
The characters in Michael Kvium’s paintings, however, gave pause mid-week as they confused us with their bright dresses and serious countenances.
Ken Gangbar’s new ceramic works combine delicate individual pieces into strong groupings for high impact.
And we ended the week with some simple (or are they?) paintings by Maureen Gallace, seduced by the lure of summer somewhere ahead… SM
