Recent MoCo submissions.

+ Bloom's Fresco baby high/ low chair, "engineered to integrate advanced functionality, such as 360° rotation and exclusive easy-lift™ height adjustment with unique cocoon-like form", um, kinda unique. Via ModernTots.

+ NONESISTE chairs made of composite material, "their guiding thread is the transformation into material of a stroke, of a line quickly drawn on a white sheet in order to perform a specific duty without further structural elements.".

+ Designer Fletcher Vaughan's One Chair, "a clever combining of two pieces. Separate the pieces and you have a practical chair and an ottoman, yet combined they have completely different purposes.". Via essenze.

I like MoCo and the fascinating design energy being provided. But can MoCo please STOP with the animated GIF advertising and Flash? For a infoBlog on latest art and design, MoCo seems to be in the retro of ads. I get the "we need ads for revenue" bit, but please, you are losing my attention to this right-column annoyance. Maybe I'll visit you in a month or two. maybe not. But the filtering has begun...

The "One" chair reminds me a bit of the Karim Rashid designed "Q Chaise" from Umbra.

I have to agree with Rita. The 'One' chair is WAY too close to Rashid's 'Q Chaise'. I kept flipping between images and it's pretty obvious.
