Vanessa Hannen's stainless steel Flatter is both a light and a display. "A swarm of silver butterflies creates a fairytale-like atmosphere. FLATTER reflects light in a colorful and playful way on a white surface and thus artfully displays accessories such as handbags and jewelry.".

I had the pleasure of meeting Vanessa at the Design Academy Eindhoven last year, she was part of the graduation galleries at Dutch Design Week.
Here's a picture I took of Vanessa (http://tinyurl.com/2ccu6a) in case you're interested in seeing the designer behind Flatter. She was a pleasure to talk to, very humble and sincere. It was a nice experience.
I'm happy to know that she exhibited at the IMM Cologne 2007, great news!!

Hello there, it is a pleasure to read such a nice comment, thanks holly!
I just want to make clear that Flatter is not exactly a lamp. It seems to be one, but it is all about reflection - no electricity!
By the way, i will also exhibit at the Salone del Mobile in Milan... :)
Have fun at mocoloco.com!!

Hi Vanessa!
It is so great to see you here, and to know that you will exhibit at the Salone del Mobile this year. Congratulations! :)

Saw Vanessa's work at the graduation show in Eindhoven last year.
We were very lucky to be able to buy an example of this beautiful Flatter.
Actually, we have just installed it on our wall and it already became the new focus point of our interior!!
Keep on the great work and thank you again!
