This Week at Art MoCo
by sabine7 / February 2, 2007

Starting a wintry week with a photo of a frozen lake dotted with white plastic balls was the obvious choice. McKendree Key’s installations are startling juxtapositions of humans and their surroundings.

The neon lights can signify a whole lot more than fast food or an easy exit. Cerith Wyn Evans uses this medium to hit the words home. After all, ideas equal light bulbs.

Eric Chan’s vibrant designs are graphic and Japanese-inspired, and although he uses elements of street art, his work is totally accessible.

The parade of saturated colour continues with Bruce Bosnan’s MDF wall sculptures.

And Amanda Ross-Ho spoils us for choice with an amazing array of installations, sculptures and photos that entertain and provoke, such as this ‘white out’ cast. SM
