Imagery Bowls
by Greg / January 4, 2007

Toronto-based Sally Mccubbin makes eye catching glass bowls that create fantastic iconography through reliefs cut into glass; revealing the bowls' outside layer. The iconography subtly addresses war, monoculturism, and gender roles. JGB

These are great - I love the designs and the colours. Even the chip & dip bowls are fun.

I had the pleasure of seeing her work in person at last years THAW exhibit in Edmonton. The designs were great and the quality was fantastic.

Definitely the highlight piece for me.
