One of our favorite pieces of sculpture this year was practically the mother of all sculptures. Or make that the baby of all sculptures. Ron Mueck’s giant baby head proved to be quite a hit with Art MoCo readers as well… SM
What's creepiest about Ron Mueck's work is that it looks so real, whether in a photograph, or 6 inches from your face in a gallery. Thinking of the oversized baby I saw at the MCA a few months back still creeps me out a little bit.
