Today's MoCo submissions and picks.

+ demackerdesign’s newest project is the frame.collection for TONON. “Inspired by the art of a goldsmith`s work we developed a series of sidetables that resemble a frame for jewelry.”.

+ iller and mink's Classy Sticks are a collaborative project from designers Bodil Söderlund & Charlie Davidson. The project takes modern consumer goods with classical shapes; gold plated plastic sports trophies and turns them back into a series of hand crafted, precious ceramic objects. "These pieces are exploring people’s general appreciation of 'class' and how objects are used to express our understanding of style and standards.".

+ The Ribbon Project's 2.8cm cutlery, styled on ribbon forms, Bud Bowl with cross-hatched ribbon top and Ovalscape cup and convex saucer are now available to buy (shop list).

+ During the recent London Design Festival, the Centro Portugues de Design presented the Des+gn Mais show at the Truman Brewery to raise awareness of ceramics, glass, furniture and lighting design from Portugal. If you're in London, the second phase begins this Fall with UK retailers "exhibiting" selected designs. Above, clockwise from left, SUS Design's Corkit lamp, Boco Do Lobo's Hudson Side Table, Marco Sousa Santos' PLOT lamp, Boca Do Lobo's Soho Sidetable (catchy name!), CAL Design's Solitary Side Table and Zaum's Magazine table.
