Recent MoCo submissions.

+ Lexus launches a "Hybrid Living" web site featuring profiles of eco-designers and self-guided destination tours for LA, SF and NYC via podcast and printed guides. I normally wouldn't post this advert, but it's actually pretty good. Watch the LivingHomes video (the link is in the menu at the top of the page).

+ Vessel has a new supersized portable lamp called luau, that "can be lit while charging, and lights up automatically when lifted from the base. It can be dimmed or turned off to conserve the charge until you need it.".

+ Designers office4ideas have created the Pouffe Family, "a seating concept for open areas where people meet and interact". Made for public spaces, these sculptural lounge units have a familiar square form but with a slightly warped top seat that has an assymetric overhang: “We wanted to work with a form that should be at first glance familiar and recognizable; a classic “pouffe”, but at a second look complex and surprising.". It also has a built-in table top that looks like a giant iconic button in one of the top corners.

+ The “geometrical abstraction of natural branch forms” was the inspiration for Zeitraum’s Noon pendant light.

Interetsing site, bookmarked you .

Hmm, a luxury car manufacturer presents an eco-design site? Sorry, I don`t believe they really care about that issue.
