100% East 2006: Farm Designs
by / October 3, 2006

Introducing the process of ‘fluting’. Farm Designs was showing a screen designed by Giles Miller that demonstrated “the idea of alternating the angle of the corrugation in cardboard to produce different shades and create decorative patterns in the surfaces of these three dimensional structures.”. Farm was also showing Chairs-in-Chairs and Table Lamp by Guy Brown. The chairs “were based around the smallest size a chair could be whilst still retaining its function to seat an adult.”. The Table Lamp “uses the process of extrusion to allow it to function as a reading light[!]”. See the chairs and table after the jump.
