+ The Swarovski Crystal Palace lit up London last night with Naoto Fukasawa’s Cosmos 1 & 2 that incorporate two lights emanating the “after-image” that appears when you hold a light in your hand and draw circles in the air. The route of the after-image of the light was mapped by a line of Swarovski crystals along a line of electro-luminescent film to recreate the after-image. “It is as if the light comes from the stick of wizards,” says Naoto. Also on display was Georg Baldele’s Vertical Glitterbox pinned with hundreds of Swarovski crystals and lit by an intricate network of LEDs.

The Glitterbox would be great for music videos.
