+ Robert Stadler’s +336+ mirror will be presented at the launch of DWB – Digital Wellbeing Showroom during the London Design Festival. “+336+ is able to receive SMS sent from a mobile phone. The messages appear as luminous text, running on the mirrors’ surface when one gets close to the mirror.”. Um, I want one of these.

+ Says Laurence at Los Osos “We’re ‘wrapping’ things up for Summer and just updated our Los Osos site with 3 (and 1/2) new projects: Dirt Rug, Pine Cone, Wasp Wrap and Lava Couch (a work in progress, so it counts only as 1/2 a project!)”.

+ Objects made with Corian at the upcoming London Design Festival will include Fly Pitcher’s qwerty (above left), a low table made of a continuous ribbon of Corian, “a mathematical expression frozen in place” and mona, a saddle-style stool. A customized 1970s RV with cut-away acrylic sides will also be touring Festival sites displaying new lifestyle furniture by Barcelona-based design group Exposed. Designs include the Vinet, a contemporary updating of the cocktail cabinet and Medusa.
