Today's MoCo picks.

+ Ken Shuttleworth / make architects’ Crescent House @ Arkinetia. "The concept is not a modern box artificially placed in a landscape, but is rooted strongly in its site.".

+ Matt Gagnon's modular Nomad Mobile Grass Lounger @ Inhabitat. "...the Nomad is a magnetized mobile seating unit that can be configured in several different ways and used inside or out. Indoors, the lounger comes with cushions, but we’re most fond of the outdoor version — with grass.".

+ Designer Charlie Davidson’s Black Light @ Core77. “…reminiscent of a dark, ominous cloud that emits jagged shards of magma-colored light.”. Thanks to Toby Summerskill for the image.

+ Mana Bernardes' luminous jewelry @ Cool Hunting. “...from minimalist chrome to brightly-colored plastics and translucent pieces that seem to take on a glow of their own, hinting at the young designer's fascination with light.”.

+ AT Labs tests the Marc Newson designed Samsonite Scope with unexpected results.
+ design*sponge creates “a comprehensive online guide to design shopping in my favorite borough by neighborhood” – the Brooklyn Design Guide.
+ Nice house! Apple's other Steve (Wozniak) renovates his Bay Area home. Via GadgetoBlog

...very nice house, but you need a lot of space to design a house without boxes...
At first I found the massing of that house to be fairly unappealing, but the interior spaces are fantastic. I'd love to see it in real life.
As for the orange luggage, my girlfriend is devastated (well, maybe not devastated). She's been ogling that thing for months now.
