+ Designer Benjamin Hubert’s Puff Out Lights are leather and blown glass rechargeable lamps that “embody the interaction of candlelight”. The lamps clap-on symbolizing the striking of a match and produce a glow that flickers gently - they also blow out. Benjamin, a recent grad from Loughborough University, entered Puff Out in the Mathmos candlelight competition.

I love these! where can i get them and for how much?
wow.. amazing.. how to get them??
cool! what is the lamp made from?
Wow - absolutely love these!
Have they won the competition? If not they most definitely should do, they've got my vote (and i'll buy them if they come out)
where can i get one of these? :D
Yeee! Amazing thing!!!! Where and how much????
You can see them at 100% east in london design week - and will be available if they win the mathmos competition in the near future. made from blown glass and leather.
cheers for the comments!
very innovative!
strange you have my name
Love the lamps .. are they for sale anywhere?
where can i buy these they are cool
I must have looked at this page a dusin times hoping that someone would post some details on where to buy these. No luck so far.
Anyway, these are great, not only in appearance, but in function as well. Especially now that the fumes from a candlelight has turned out to be equivalent those from diesel exhaust and that causes cancer.
I wanna fill my living room with these things so i can get that romantic candlelight mood without breathing toxic fumes
Great work
Hi,
Just a quick reply to the previous post, i am developing them into a production ready product (as the shot is just a prototype) i will be exhibiting again in at the London design festival later this year.
I will post new work and my website nearer the time.
Thanks for all the great feedback
Ben
please let me know when these become available!
I wish to buy large quantities for Japan or even one set will do for my personal use. Please inform me where to buy
I'm getting twitchy here.. When will these puppies be ready for sale? Any ideas on what the price will be yet? Should i start saving up? :)
Hi Kristian,
sorry you will have to hold on for a while, it's in the negotiation stage with a manufacturer currently, will let you know if and when they get released!
cheers
Ben
