Oneliners
+ Designer Ronen Kadushin reminds us that the NL Lounge project isn’t the only one that investigated the possibilities of wire cutting foam to achieve a 3D form with 2D cuts. “Since the foam-cutting machine is essentially a precise band saw, the saw blade must enter the foam block, cut out the desired path and exit the block. This presents a design challenge where the product is designed as a continuous cutting line. Hence the collection’s title: Oneliners. The outcome is a complete product with no finishes or assembly needed.”.

Reminds me of that Woody Allen movie where the guy tries to sit on a wire chair, made of one huge curved wire and he keeps falling over and nobody say a thing.
