This Week at Art MoCo
Sculptor Andy Yoder must have a sweet tooth. His giant shoes are covered in licorice and his peanut butter and jelly sandwich is much, much larger than life.
Johnny Swing creates chairs and couches out of loose change. Don’t bother looking under the sofa for all that allowance you lost – you’re sitting on it.
Bullet holes provide an interesting textural element in the lamps made by Charles Linder. Oh, and they also let the light shine through.
Benjamin Butler is our only painter this week, with oils to lose ourselves in.
And Jacob Dahlgren gives superb installation, be it a room full of colours in three dimensions, a stack of empty yoghurt containers or a mall of people wearing striped sweaters. SM
