Says Adriean; “Monster came about during the time I became heavily into the Urban Vinyl / Designer Toy culture. From this love for the genre, I wanted to take the same feel from that and transfer it into the furniture design scene.”. The most successful vinyl toys allow for customization thanks to their simple shape, and because they’ve been personalized, users become more attached to the object. Monster is this simple character that can be manipulated, and to prove the point Koleric has asked animator Motomichi Nakamura to mod his Monster (we're already in line to see that one).
