27 projects by Milanese industrial designer Giulio Iacchetti will be featured at an exhibition in Thessaloniki from June 22 through July 2. A retrospective of Iacchetti’s work, the exhibition puts the focus on smaller pieces and accessories. Among the items featured are the beautiful streamlined pen commissioned for Mandarina Duck that picks up the logo perfectly, Post-It business cards and a wooden fruit bowl that twists into action. Iacchetti’s designs are not without humour and wisdom: his ice cube tray for Opos (above) turns out cubes in the form of gold ingots, drawing attention to the value of water. SM
